WE Decide

We decide...inspired by The Guerrilla Girls
The selfie above is inspired by the Guerrilla Girls who is a group of feminist activist women who are anonymously named. They focus on issues that are presently going on during that time period such as politics, gender and ethic bias, etc. These women remained unmask to make sure people focus on the issue rather than who the person is and I felt as if that was a great idea. As for my selfie I did not become anonymous for the same reason as other people who believe Trump is not their president, he isn't mine either. The words written on the poster board are from the Guerrilla Girls who were protesting in Washington, D.C. Although I am not in D.C., as a Mexican-American WOMAN, I will continue to fight along side with my people and put an end to the current issue today, in which many people worry and fear, that is the immigration policy. My parents are immigrants, same as other people who were born here in the U.S. from immigrant parents. We will all get through this and unite as one. #NotMyPresident
