Frida Kahlo autobiographical selfie (Gabriela Ortiz)

This autobiographical selfie was inspired by Frida Kahlo. Frida Kahlo is known as an astonishing female artist. In this autobiography image, I tried to use some of the relative work of Frida Kahlo and was inspired to recreate her look. My image collects some of the evidence of Frida Kahlo and her style. For example, Frida Kahlo is a well known painter, so I added paintings in the background. Also, in almost all her pictures you see Frida wearing braids tied up as a hairstyle, you see her wearing big blanket scarfs, and is also seen wearing beautiful colorful flowers on her head. As you can see, my facial expression is serious or (if you think so) sad. Frida was a broken person on the inside and outside because of her husband, Diego Rivera. Her face on images are always serious and/or sad. Her paintings are vivid descriptions of all the pain she is feeling physically, emotionally, and mentally.
