Frida Kahlo inspired me to take this image because producing music in my own home is a place I consider "home". Within my own house I have a recording studio, where I can escape from troubles and sorrows that the world may throw at me. This is a place where I am often alone and can concentrate on creating music itself or focus on lyrics that reflect on my life or problems that may occur throughout the world. Just like Frida Kahlo and how she painted self portraits of herself and considered it art, I believe music is some type of art form as well and can be expressed in any way coming from the composer or artist. In any mood or condition I am in, the music I create makes me feel immortal and that I can accomplish anything in this world. The vision that usually occurs in my life is to my music heard throughout the world and hopefully can make a connection to someone else's life.
